Painting at Events
There are several options when it comes to live painting.
For the guestsMost popular!
Mini Painting
This is the ultimate guest experience. At your event, your guests would simply approach Nicole’s table, pose for a photo, and as they enjoy the rest of your event, she’d paint them onto watercolor paper. Once she finishes the mini painting, she’d then place it in a protective plastic sheet and then they’ll pick it up on their way home.
The guest experience & what to expect
Grab a dry-erase board and marker & write your first & last name!
Grab 1-3 more people & pose for my camera!
Mingle, eat, dance and wait for me to paint your painting!
For the first hour, I’ll photograph/paint simultaneously and then after I will strictly paint for the remainder of the event.
Finished! Look for your name on the plastic protector and enjoy your painting!
Didn’t remember to grab your painting? The bride & groom will take it home and give it to you another day!

Live Painting with Canvas
This is the gift of enjoying one special moment onto a canvas. Prior to your event, you and Nicole would discuss what scene you’d like her to paint, and then she’d come to your event and paint that said scene onto an 18 x 24 canvas. Example: You want me to paint your first dance. She would snap a photo of your dance in real time and then paint it onto your canvas. Once finished, you will have your favorite memory placed onto canvas to take home.

Packages

*This would be on thick watercolor paper that could be easily framed to your liking.

Scenes of the Night
This option allows you to really lean into all the moments. Prior to your big event, you would communicate with Nicole what paintings you’d like her to create that encompasses your night.
For example, if you’re having a wedding and want a gallery of moments painted then you’d most likely choose: the first dance, the first kiss, toasts, the cake table, the table settings, the venue and more. She is a big proponent of communication, and will be very open to helping you choose or you can allow her to use her creative expression to find the right moments to paint. At the end of the evening, you’ll have a full gallery of paintings that remember your big event.
The guest experience & what to expect
You, the client, and I discuss what “scenes” you want me to paint throughout the night.
These could be:
- Cake Cutting
- Entryway
- Food table
- First Kiss/Dance/Entrance
- Table decorations, etc.
The night of, I will go around the event and photograph the scenes you’d like me to paint!
I’ll return to my table and start painting!
Throughout the night, your guests will watch me paint & see the paintings come to life as they are finished!
I can paint anywhere from 5-10 paintings in one night!

FAQ
- Are your paintings all in the same style? Why no faces?
- Yes! My style is very minimalist yet colorful. I don’t fill the page as I make the paintings look as if they are a little glimpse as to what’s happening. I like to leave the faces off as I love to emphasize the outfits, hair, style and accessories that the guests spent so much time creating for the event!
- Would we be able to keep the paintings? Can we post them online?
- Yes, of course! I just ask for you not to reproduce the paintings. If you want copies, then I’d be happy to start a conversation about having me take the originals to my preferred printer.
- If we provide photos ahead of time — could we get commissioned paintings for display at our venue?
- Yes! I’d be happy to give you my commission price sheet for artwork!
- How many guest paintings do you think you normally do in like a 5-hour time frame?
- Typically, I can get around 30-40 done in a single evening.
- I live outside of Omaha, do you travel?
- Yes! I’ll pack my bags! I’ll just charge for travel expenses.
- Do you do bridal showers or birthday parties?
- I’d love to!
- Can we meet up? I have so many questions!
- Of course. I love meeting for coffee in Omaha!
